9 Weeks 5 Days
Hi guys! Hope everyones been doing well! I see that you all have been super busy :) That's good, I love hearing/reading about everyones lives! So, today I am going to talk about new developments in the pregnancy and also some oh so lovely experiences...
So, most people know that little boys are dirty monsters. They like to get "yucky" and use words like, penis, boobies, and butt. Not to mention, they somehow always develop a love for eating their boogers, playing with their little tiny empty ball sacks, and FARTING. Well, I work with two little boys and let me tell you, one of these habits IN PARTICULAR has become a huge problem.
The other day, I was driving with the kids to pick Andrew up because we were all going to go to Makutus Island. It was early and the sun was shinning! The birds were celebrating the morning glory and even the homeless man on the corner of Bell seemed like he was having a spectacular day. I was thinking to myself, what a wonder life... when suddenly, lightening struck and DEATH filled the air! Literally. Just as we were approaching Chick-Fil-A, my favorite three year old in the whole world, let a big womping fart out! I didn't even have time to roll a window down it was an instant KILL. I started to vomit everywhere. I jumped out of the car and continued to let loose. It was was coming out of everything! I couldn't breath! I couldn't see! I thought I was going to die. About 10 seconds later, that fear of death turned into sheer anger, and it was the poor kid strapped in his car seat who was then fearing death. All I could do was scream DISGUSTING... monster! AHHHHHH... I wanted to staple his butt shut!!! And of course while all this was going down, a number of poor innocent bystanders lost their appetite I am sure. They too were probably having wonderful days, until they pulled up to Chick-Fil-A only to see a violently angry teenage girl screaming her head off and vomiting all over herself... and the side walk... and the street... and the CAR!It was awful. I did calm down eventually, and now can laugh about the whole situation. Although, I did have to have a talk with [Joe] and explain to him that his butt stinks and that if anything is every going to come out of it, he needs to warn me or I might very well die.
That has probably been the worst experience to date.
So, I am becoming a little more productive as far as life goes. I can venture beyond my front door with out my blue bowl now and I have found enough energy to clean the kitchen and impress my wonderful husband! It might not seem like much, but these are BIG mile markers for me.
Something rather unusual ( I thought!) that has come into action over the last couple of weeks is an allergic reaction to nickle! About two weeks ago, I noticed that something had bit me on the side of my ring finger. I had three or four little tiny white bumps underneath my wedding rings and they were itching like crazy! I took my rings off for about a week and during that time the little bumps turned into a blistery rash. It eventually dried out and kind of flaked off leaving very light and sensitive pink skin exposed. At this point, I knew it wasn't a bug bite but thought that maybe it was a chemical from just having had my rings cleaned. I then re-cleaned them myself and then plopped 'em right back on! That was Wednesday and already the rash is back only it has spread and is even itchier! I called my Doctor and he he said it could be one of two things. One, it could be that because I am pregnant I may have developed an allergic reaction to nickle and since my ring is 18 Ct. W. Gold there are 6 Ct.s of nickle in it... which is causing my finger to want to fall off. Second, the folic acid sometimes reactions this way to metals, and again, since there is Nickle in my ring... it's no beuno...
I have an Appt. on Monday, so we will get the answers needed then. But the whole thing is kind of sad. All my life I told myself, it doesn't matter what people are going to think of me when I get pregnant, I might look like a knocked up 14 year old but at least I will have the finger to give them... that is the ring finger of course! And now, the thought of not being able to do that kind of terrifies me. I think it's wrong for people to mistreat teens for getting pregnant at such a young age, I mean I may not agree with the situation, but who am I to judge? Who is anyone too?! None the less, I see the way that they are looked at and I have seen with my own eyes people go out of their way just to be rude to them. I am scared of that. Let's just pray that maybe the Dr.'s wrong and it's a bug bite.
Well, I have to go... But there's more to come! Have a good night guys! xoxo
