September 24th 2009; An Indonesian women has given birth to a 19.2 lbs baby boy, the heaviest baby ever recorded in the country. Here he is picture next to an average size baby at the hospital in Medan, North Sumatra.
I saw this yesterday! How crazy! The mom was pretty big (tall, hefty) and apparently they think this baby was big because of gestational diabetes... Verrrry scary.
I read on the news that the heaviest baby ever born was almost 24 pounds!! That is as big as a ONE YEAR OLD! Holy smokes!
We call those "IDM babies" (Infant of diabetic mother)...you can always tell them from the others...HUGE and pink, LOL! They're little bodies of just pumped full of glucose!

OMG...I'm scared!!! If that happened to me...I'd tell them to take IT back! I'd be so angry I had a toddler and not a newborn!
